Setting up the blog was pretty easy. I didn’t have a lot of trouble doing this. I think part of it is because much of my life has included a presence online. While this has not always been the case, I remember turning in papers that were typed on a typewriter and a time before personal computers, cell phones, and the internet, a large portion has included technology. The only issue that I had was learning the layout of the editing pages. I currently read a couple of blogs that are specific to my artistic discipline. I have also published on blog, Howlround (www.howlround.com). Other then that I don’t have a lot of experience with blogs.

When thinking of the name of my posting and blog name, I thought of something that would be appropriate for potential students and their parent/guardian. As for the avatar, I created a simple avatar that has similar characteristics but is not the exact same. I did this because I liked the look of the avatar.
